Overview:Alera Group is looking for a Small Business - Commercial Account Manager. With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service. Responsibilities:Prepare and review insurance submissions, quotes, proposals, and policy documents for accuracy and professionalism.Manage service requests, including certificates of insurance, endorsements, audits, and premium financing.Conduct contract reviews to ensure compliance with insurance requirements.Deliver timely binders, invoices, and finalized policies to clients.Communicate professionally and follow up with clients, carriers, producers, and team members.Prioritize and manage workload effectively, delegating tasks to Account Assistant as needed.Participate in renewal meetings and collaborate with producers and Account Managers.Maintain certifications, complete training, and stay current on carrier underwriting requirements. Qualifications:
  • 3+ years industry experience including at least 3 years at the Account Manager level
  • Applicable state P&C Agents License
  • Industry related certifications expected
