CNC Process EngineerFull-timeBridgman, MIA high growth, precision machining shop and they have an opening on their southwest Michigan team for a Process Engineer. This position plays a key role in optimizing manufacturing operations by applying principles of Lean manufacturing, process engineering, and industrial engineering. This position focuses on improving productivity, quality, and efficiency across production lines. The ideal candidate will bring strong skills in CNC programming, project scheduling, and root cause analysis, along with experience in robotics, fabrication, and mechanical engineering. This is an opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and drive innovation in manufacturing processes.CNC Process Engineer Key Responsibilities
Interpret and read blueprints accurately
Collaborate with Quality team to ensure design specifications are met
Select and build appropriate tooling for production
Set up and configure machinery for optimal performance
Write and modify G & M code; macro programming experience is a plus
Train new operators and support experienced operators to maintain standards
Develop and implement process improvement initiatives
Analyze tooling performance and recommend enhancements
Review SPC data with Quality and Production teams to guide decisions
Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity
CNC Process Engineer Qualifications
3–5 years of CNC mill setup experience
Proficient in G & M coding
Experience with Fanuc controls
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including geometric tolerancing
CNC Process Engineer Preferred Skills (Not Required):
Experience with Mori Seki CNC controls
Ability to program, operate, and maintain Fanuc robots
Experience with Zoller tool pre-setter machines
Knowledge of TS 16949 or ISO 9000 standards
