We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to oversee and coordinate construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on construction experience, and the ability to manage crews, subcontractors, schedules, and safety compliance. The Construction Foreman plays a key role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.
Hours: 1st shift, hours vary by projectPay: $35-40/hr depending on experience Responsibilities/Qualifications of the Foreman are:
- Perform rough and finish carpentry work, including framing, installing doors, windows, cabinets, moldings, and flooring.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood, metal, and other materials according to project requirements.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and effectively.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to meet deadlines and ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company and OSHA safety guidelines.
- OSHA Certified - MUST
- Repair and replace damaged structures or fixtures as needed.
- Minimum 5 years of professional carpentry experience in residential and/or commercial construction.
- Bilingual Spanish - Ability to read and write both English & Spanish - MUST
- Proficient in using woodworking tools, machinery, and materials.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various environmental conditions.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license - MUST
