Alkermes is seeking a Program Manager to support our enterprise AI program and team. This person in partnership with our Enterprise Data Science AI lead will support the further establishment of this long-term strategy and will develop and oversee execution of our integrated execution plan working closely with business stakeholders across groups such as Commercial, R&D, Operations, Quality and G&A.We are looking for an individual who values teamwork and collaboration, is organized with strong problem solving and facilitation skills, has excellent written and verbal communication skills, is self-motivated, thrives working in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working on the details without losing site of the larger organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in artificial intelligence, information technology, and Agile project management. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, and aligning project outcomes with the organization's strategic goals. The candidate must be an experienced Program Manager who can lead our AI and IT projects using SCRUM and Agile methodologies.Key Responsibilities
  • Define and Clarify Objectives: Establish clear project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Develop Project Plans: Create detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Resource Management: Ensure the project team has the necessary resources and support.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the project team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
  • Proactive risk management, issue resolution and overall cross-functional integration and communication
  • Develop/maintain key documents, systems and communication mechanisms to support your team and the broader organization
  • Ensure robust portfolio governance through structured frameworks and disciplined executionSupport business prioritization amid competing demands that deliver measurable business outcomes

  • Ability to work with different cross-functional stakeholders to establish and ensure a reliable and productive working relationship.
  • Good written and oral communication skills including capacity to comfortably interface with senior leaders, including executive staff.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence.
Basic Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in managing AI and IT projects, with a strong emphasis on Agile methodologies.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and a solid understanding of AI technologies and trends.
  • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or similar project management certifications are preferred
