If so, please read on...The Application Engineer's role is to work with internal and external resources to understand customers challenges and propose technical solutions; then estimate, quote and establish contracts for L&S's PCS Division projects and services.Responsibilities:· Understanding customer technical and commercial challenges· Interpretation of technical and commercial specifications and customer requirements· Evaluation of project conditions through visual, verbal and written means· Coordination of the development and documentation of project approach and conceptual system designs· Development of project cost estimates and pricing· Preparation of technical and commercial proposals and customer bid documentsRequirements:· Engineering degree· Experience with PLC control systems and/or hydraulic systems· Excellent organizational and time management skills· Excellent communication and customer relations skills· Work effectively as an individual and in a team environment· Proficient use of personal computer, practical knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel· Able to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally (typical is 10%)Summary:Why L & S Electric?We don't just offer a job-we offer a future.
