The AWS Partner Network (APN) represents a crucial ecosystem that we have cultivated alongside our extensive network of consulting and technology partners. Its mission is to advocate for AWS across various industries, regardless of a company's size or global location. The APN offers a range of services, including partner qualification validation, the sharing of leads and opportunities, training and certifications, marketing support, and financial reimbursement, among other benefits. The dedicated APN Partner team is responsible for both internal and external support for Partner Sales, the APN, and other key elements that drive the AWS partner ecosystem. Our commitment is to serve three primary stakeholder groups: the partners who collaborate with us to develop, promote, and sell AWS, the customers who rely on AWS services, and our internal users responsible for fostering AWS sales and partner-based adoption. The team is working on green field initiative to lay down API foundation for Partner engineering with public APIs.In the role of a Salesforce Developer, you will play a pivotal role within our team, providing essential support to all our partners. While your primary focus will be on the Salesforce.com platform, you should be open to learning and supporting other technologies, including AWS services, as the need arises. Your responsibilities will involve creating highly secure, scalable, adaptable, and high-performing solutions. You will work closely with product and technology teams to design, develop, test, iterate, and deploy new features, integrate systems, enhance existing features, and offer operational support. Additionally, you will take a leadership role in conducting code reviews and guiding junior team members towards improved design and the adoption of clean, standardized coding practices.Key job responsibilities
  • Implement new functionality, enhancements to existing functionality, and provide operational support.
  • Create and execute test scripts, both automated and manual.
  • Execute deployments in a safe and documented way, helping to drive improved team deployment processes.
  • Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and influencing smart decisions.
  • Lead iterative feedback sessions, enabling the business to provide input on work in progress.
  • Troubleshoot escalated support issues - collecting , performing analysis on root cause, and implementing short- and long-term solutions.
  • Function as tech lead on projects being implemented by external contractors.
  • Mentor peers via code review and ad hoc assistance.
  • Learn and adapt to Amazon internal builder tools and native AWS technology.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Seattle, WA, USABASIC QUALIFICATIONS- - 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience on the Force.com platform.
- - 5+ years of experience with Visualforce, LWC, Apex and/or SOQL/SOSL.
- - 3+ years of architecture/design experience.
- - 4-year college degree in computer science or computer engineering; alternate degrees that seem related may be considered; higher amounts of overall work experience may also be considered, in lieu of the 4-year degreePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- - Strong grasp of both administrator and developer areas of the Force.com platform, understanding when and why to use admin vs. dev solutions
- - Strong understanding of relational databases and object-oriented coding
- - Strong understanding of the importance and techniques of test classes on the Force.com platform
- - Proficiency in related web technologies (HTML/CSS, , frameworks such as , libraries such as jQuery)
- - Proficiency in related integration technologies (JSON, XML, REST, SOAP)
- - Proficiency in related tools ( Data Loader, Workbench, Force.com IDE, Developer Console)
- - Experience in end-to-end ownership of applications, from inception through post-deployment support and iterative enhancement
- - Force.com certifications - Administrator, Developer, Advanced Developer, Architect
- - Experience with Force.com Communities, Force.com Lightning
- - Prior experience as a dev, web dev, or dev on other technologies
- - Knowledge of Agile practices, particularly sprint planning and estimation
- - Strong Excel skills

The base pay for this position ranges from $103,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
