- Manages all day-to-day processes in the distribution center, including all teammates involved in the process.
- Ensures that completed requisitions are available when ordered and all component SKU’s are on hand as needed.
- Serves as primary liaison between sales, corporate program support and DC management teammates; handles resolution of procedure tote processing issues.
- Performs inventory management services to support businesses, including data file maintenance and generating/placing orders. Develops and maintains appropriate back-up procedures for critical process management functions.
- Generates, continuously monitors and adjusts weekly assembly schedules; coordinates with component suppliers to resolve issues and maximize efficiency. Monitors and communicates the status of all work orders to managers and team members. Coordinates with local management team for resource requirements and communicates resource issues when necessary.
- Establishes and maintains procedure tote components in OMNI assortment list screens by utilizing support programs (DSS).
- Ensures all changes in procedure tote components and prices are properly authorized and accepted by management teams and end user; resolves conflicts as necessary. Maintains and audits product file.
- Uploads new requisitions into product master file after acceptance from the customer.
- Coordinates with distribution center purchasing department and corporate supplier relations team to acquire all components for Surgitrack, including new vendors and component SKU’s.
- Communicates to various audiences. Educates and trains teammates on multiple programs; participates in scheduled communications to internal customers.
- Performs additional duties as directed.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in healthcare logistics, supply chain management or related field
- 3 or more years of related experience (health care supply chain management, logistics, inventory planning, etc.)
- Ability to resolve conflict, persuade and negotiate.
- Thorough understanding of all warehouse functions, aspects and processes.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of process management techniques and principles.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of software programs such as Word and Excel, Business Objects, CSW, Microsoft Access and other necessary programs or project tools.
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
