Candidate will be responsible for leading assigned personnel to perform Enterprise Configuration Data Management (ECDM) activities in support of Navy Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWC-DD). Specific responsibilities could include, for example, any or all of the following activities: providing technical direction to all project activities and personnel, including formulating and enforcing work standards, assigning project schedules, reviewing work, supervising project personnel and communicating policies and organizational goals and objectives to all project personnel.Required Skills/Years of Experience
Ten (10) years of combined general and specialized experience in Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM).Of the 10 years of experience, eight (8) or more of which are specialized experience in one or more specific areas of CM/DM as applied to systems engineering processes for US Government and Department of Defense (DoD) systems: combat systems, system of systems, emerging capabilities, and information technology systems.Five (5) years of experience in leading and supervising personnel in a CM program and all aspects of managing the cost, schedule, and technical performance for work assigned to their Project.Preferred Skills
Experience evaluating work requirements, identifying personnel skills requirements, financial and personnel resource planning and assignment, conducting performance evaluations, planning for and participating in Contractor-only or Government and Contractor technical and planning meetings, developing and delivering work-related briefings, and developing and delivering reports to the Government.Familiarity with and experience using the Advanced Configuration Control and Engineering Status System (ACCESS) database.Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing..*The majority of our positions require a DoD security clearanceBenefitsFull-time employees are eligible for the following benefits enrollment from their date of hire:
