Superintendent – Industrial ConstructionOne of the area's leading general contractors is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their team and lead field operations on large-scale industrial construction projects. This role will oversee projects in sectors such as manufacturing, food & beverage processing, power generation, chemical plants, and production facilities. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who can manage field crews, ensure safety compliance, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Both union and non-union candidates are encouraged to apply.Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day field operations, subcontractor coordination, and workforce management.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage schedules, monitor progress, and proactively address issues to keep projects on track.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Lead site meetings, enforce project specifications, and oversee installation and construction activities.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and project documentation.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of superintendent experience in industrial construction (manufacturing, food & beverage, chemical, power, or related facilities).
  • Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing specific to industrial environments.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to direct crews, manage subcontractors, and foster teamwork.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe worksite.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.

  • Position requires travel up to 30% to project sites nationwide.
