- Contribute to an annual sales plan/budget by increasing referrals into the practice.
- Prospect new business and maintain existing business on a daily basis to increase the referral source base and diversity of the referral sources within a territory.
- Average 15 sales calls/visits/meetings per day.
- Conduct frequent referral source in-services as part of the educational component.
- Provide superior customer service and information to our referral sources in order to obtain and maintain.
- Establish a strong understanding of our competitors.
- Provide on-going communication between the referral sources, manager, and physician, as needed.
- Promote Anne Arundel Dermatology's vision and mission statements through your marketing efforts.
- Responsible for identifying changes in our industry and competitive advantages to incorporates changes within the organization.
- Provide on-going communication between the organization regarding satisfaction/feedback from our patients and referral sources.
- Maintain a sufficient supply of sales literature, educational information, etc., in a clean and presentable condition necessary to effectively promote the organization's product and services.
- Active participation with monthly sales conference calls, and other meetings as appropriate;
- Participate in other special projects or sales related activities, etc.
- Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA standards and adherence to the healthcare compliance policy.
- Knowledge of dermatology a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills; experience in building long term relationships;
- Understanding a sales cycle and applying those skills to a designated territory;
- Responsible for managing designated accounts and expanding the marketplace;
- Excellent presentation skills as well as proficient organizational and time management skills
- College degree or in pursuit of degree in Business Administration/Marketing or a related field preferred
