Your areas of responsibilities:
  • Make and manage bookings and entries in SAP.
  • Book ocean freight shipments with our freight forwarders.
  • Manage commerial document hand-off to the customs broker, ensuring shipments clear customs in a timely manner and Cybex is compliant with ISF filing requirements.
  • Audit customs entries (7501) for proper valuation and HTS code classification of commodities.
  • Track shipments, continuously provide ETA (estimated time of arrival) updates by shipment and item. Interface with sales and demand planning to provide transpacy on expected arrivals.
  • Select optimal final delivery method from the port of discharge to our facility based on cost and sales maximization; expedite out-of-stock shipments as needed.
  • Monitor the delivery process from port of discharge to final point of delivery, ensuring Cybex does not incur demurrage fees.
  • Cross-train in outbound logistics to support order fulfillment as needed.
Your profile of qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associates or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3 - 5 years' experience in transportation, freight forwarding or customs brokerage
  • Full proficiency in MS Office
  • ERP database understanding and experience
  • Understanding with basic import documents such as commercial documents, CF-7501, and ISFs
  • SAP experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
