Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM, Saturday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Overtime mandatory Must have weekend availabilityWhat youll do: In this role you will evaluate the quality of incoming product deliveries from growers.
Top responsibilities:
- Execute established procedures and guidelines to check, test, and inspect raw materials, goods in process, and finished goods.
- Perform a variety of QA inspection activities both in process, and/or final inspection includes HACCP verifications, Food Quality checks verification, incoming material (packaging, WIP, seasoning), sanitation checks and data entry of results to determine the assurance of the process and the quality of products upstream and informs appropriate personnel of process non-conformities.
- Alert appropriate personnel if an inconsistency in product is detected and searches for solutions. Be part of problem-solving team with TL.
- Hold non-conforming product in SAP and define dispositions on Production holds 003. Manage SPC charts data and report trends in process.
- Work with Production employees and QC inspectors and verify Lab samples are collected per documented procedures.
- Maintain and support client quality objectives consistent with client policies and goals.
- Compare the physical characteristics of products to technical specifications to identify defects.

- Performing a variety of grade analyses and follow written procedures as outlined in numerous operating procedures.
- Intense visual concentration and strong attention to detail.

- Basic data entry skills, such as the ability to input results.
- Prioritizing effectively and performing multiple tasks within a fast-paced production environment.
- Understanding worker instructions, HACCP processes and auditing, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety practices.
Minimum level of education required.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of quality assurance inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Lifting 25lb - 50lbs throughout shift
