This role also requires understanding of the warehouse process involved, from the receipt of goods to the shipment to the customer and can track this process within our information system. This role also includes receiving products from delivery.QualificationsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Verify that the quantity and quality of goods received is consistent with the receiving slip; checks against suppliers count and immediately report discrepancies.Safe offload and storage of goods in the appropriate location.Enter all goods received into the business system daily.Maintain inventory controls and manage the periodic inventory count in accordance with company policies and procedures.Ensure delivery of packages to the appropriate owner.Complete all paperwork in a timely manner.Deliver raw materials to the production floor from the warehouse as required.Establish and maintain mutually beneficial working relationships with freight carriers and suppliers.Organize and clean the shipping and receiving areas as required.Other duties as assigned by management.Skills and Traits:Ability to package materials appropriate to their shipping or storage methodsWorking knowledge of raw materials, warehouse, and production schedulingStrong forklift skills including driving vehicles indoors and outdoorsBasic computer skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentHigh attention to detailAbility to handle heavy loadsAbility to communicate in written and spoken EnglishGood communication skills.Education and Experience:RequiredHigh School Diploma or equivalentPossess a valid driver's licenseCurrent forklift certificationPreferredExperience within the warehousing industryAbility to drive Raymond Reach and Counterbalance – Standup and sit-down modelsFlexibility in work hours/scheduleERP knowledgeAdditional InformationCompensation and BenefitsWage: $21/hour - $23/hourPaid Time Off (vacation, sick, and holiday)401(k) Retirement PlanMedical/Dental/Vision Insurance PlansHealth Savings Account optionSupplemental/Voluntary Insurance PlansEmployee Assistance ProgramTuition Reimbursement ProgramEmployee Recognition Programs
