We are seeking a dependable and motivated Tire Technician to join an established automotive service team. The ideal candidate will perform tire services including mounting, balancing, repairs, and inspections. This position plays an essential role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of customers by delivering top-notch workmanship and customer service.Key Responsibilities:
- Mount, dismount, rotate, and balance tires on passenger and light-duty vehicles
- Inspect tires for wear, damage, and defects; recommend appropriate action
- Repair flat tires and replace valve stems as needed
- Manage and organize tire inventory
- Operate tire machines, balancers, and tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Communicate effectively with customers and service team members
- Adhere to all safety procedures and industry standards
- Assist with general shop duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior tire technician or automotive experience preferred
- Familiarity with tire-changing equipment and basic hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Indoor/outdoor shop environment with regular exposure to vehicle noise, tools, and machinery
