Job Title: Data Architect
Location: Remote
Salary range: $90,000.00-$120,000.00Company Overview:

Seeking an experienced Data Architect to manage and optimize our Azure-based data environment. The ideal candidate will design scalable, secure data solutions that support analytics and operational workflows in healthcare.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage SQL Server databases hosted on Azure (including SQL Managed Instance and other SQL Databases).
  • Design, build, and optimize data structures and storage solutions.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Maintain and update database architecture diagrams and performance metrics.
  • Support data integration, APIs, and data transfer processes.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to provide reliable data access and support reporting needs.
  • Participate in data governance and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3+ years in data warehousing and data solutions.
  • 5+ years in information technology with strong SQL development expertise.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server (SSIS, SQL Agent).
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud-based databases, especially Azure.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards and HIPAA compliance.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and understand Python or similar data processing languages is a plus.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Experience with data lakes, data mining, master data management.
  • Knowledge of enterprise data management technologies.
  • Experience in healthcare industry data projects.
  • Working knowledge of Python or other scripting tools.
Educational & Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in data architecture and healthcare data solutions.
Additional Requirements:
  • Dedicated home workspace compliant with HIPAA privacy/security policies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development.
