Job Title: Software Development Manager 2/Architect (.Net/ Blazor)Location: 100% RemoteDuration: 12 MonthsJob Description:Development and enhancement of applications supporting the 1,247 school districts. Work across multiple agency stakeholders to ensure accuracy and efficacy of assigned componentsExperience Required: Minimum 8 yearsKey Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop a new reporting framework using .NET 8.0/9.0, Blazor, and other modern Microsoft technologies.
  • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in a SCRUM/Agile environment.
  • Analyze and enhance existing complex reports built with Crystal Reports integrated with Oracle databases.
  • Develop scalable and high-performance financial system solutions, ensuring seamless database integration using Oracle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the DevOps team, to maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
  • Provide innovative solutions to modernize and streamline the existing legacy project, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • A seasoned Software Development Manager with over 8 years of experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), demonstrating expertise in:
  • Microsoft Technologies & Database Systems
  • Proficient in .NET 8.0/9.0, Blazor, C#, and Visual Studio, with a strong grasp of modern design principles.
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle database management, including PL/SQL development, stored procedure optimization, and performance tuning for complex systems.
Agile & DevOps Practices:
  • Skilled in adopting SCRUM/Agile methodologies to drive efficient project delivery.
  • Experienced in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools and automation strategies.
Version Control & Data Engineering:
  • Proficient in Bitbucket for version control.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and reporting frameworks.
Problem Solving & Collaboration:
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues in complex environments.
