Great opportunity for an APP to join our team who has a passion for evaluating and treating infertility & recurrent miscarriage. Position will rotate between our Rochester Hills and Troy clinic locations. This is a day position 40 hrs a week and shift varies between 8-10 hours. Potentially 1 weekend a month.a. Responsible for conducting thorough patient consults, mostly telemedicine but occasionally in person: initial, follow up testing, follow up treatment, post-pregnancy ultrasoundb. Responsible for analyzing test results, including but not limited to: hysterosalpingogram images, saline sonogram images, lab results, semen analysesc. Responsible for performing patient testing: saline sonogram, EXEMFOAM tubal patency testing, pelvic ultrasoundsd. Responsible for formulating treatment plans (COS) to be approved by physician: IUI, IVF, FETe. Responsible for pre & post-op evaluationsf. Responsible for acting on abnormal lab results & imaging resultsg. Communicate effectively with patients & staff members in order to provide the patients with the best care possibleh. Responsible for answering patient questions at a provider-level that may be forwarded to you from RN / MA
  • Provides inpatient and/or outpatient medical care. Takes patient history, performs physical examination, orders, and interprets tests, makes diagnoses, and institutes appropriate treatment programs.
  • Works in collaboration with staff physicians, house officers, nurses, and other medical care team members to ensure that patient outcomes are achieved safely and efficiently.
  • Specific procedures are individually credentialed as indicated by training and experience.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Master's degree in nursing -OR- Requires a bachelor's degree; completion of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program.CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:Certified Nurse Practitioner. Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Michigan state licensure or Physician Assistant Michigan state licensure and continued certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA)Current BLS or ACLS as required. Current ATLS/PALS provider status as required by department.Additional Information
