- Understanding of local insurance carriers and policies, in order to assist customer inquiries.
- Demonstrated ability to respond and follow up on new job leads
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of damaged contents, including photographs, descriptions, and condition assessments.
- Contents Assessment: Evaluate the extent of damage to contents and determine the feasibility of restoration.
- Restoration Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for the restoration of damaged contents, including coordinating with restoration technicians and subcontractors.
- Cleaning and Restoration: Oversee the cleaning and restoration of contents using industry best practices and equipment.
- Quality Control: Ensure that restored contents meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of all restoration processes, including work orders, invoices, and progress reports.
- Client Communication: Communicate with clients regarding the status of their contents, answer questions, and address concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the restoration team to ensure a seamless and efficient restoration process.
- Safety: Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Training: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, equipment, and techniques related to contents restoration.
- Previous experience in Contents Management, Restoration, Insurance or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of restoration equipment, techniques, and safety procedures is a plus.
- Knowlege of Contents Inventory System (iCat) and Estimate Software (Xactimate) is preferred.
- Must be able to identify Product (consumables), usage, and disposal requirements with training.
- Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per Blue Kangaroo Packoutz’s vehicle policy and reliable transportation.
- Possess a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of Customer Service principles and practices.
- Physical Requirements: Access and mobility in tight spaces and Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Excellent communication and leader skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in English is required and Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
