
Bilingual IT Help Desk Customer Service Representative

- Field incoming help requests from end users via telephone, work orders, and help desk in a courteous manner
- Build rapport and elicit problem details from help desk customers
- Record, track, and document the help desk request problem-solving process through final resolution
- Apply diagnostic utilities and troubleshooting tools to resolve issues
- Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and FAQs to aid in problem resolution
- Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware supported by the organization
- Perform hands on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, file backups, and configuring systems/applications
- Test fixes to ensure problems are resolved
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
- Broad understanding of computer hardware
- Experience with desktop operating systems
- Strong problem solving and process improvement skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to present technical information clearly to non technical users
- Experience with software maintenance and testing a plus
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
