Join The French American Academy as a Full-Time English TeacherThe French American Academy is seeking passionate and dedicated full-time English Teachers for our Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Elementary programs in a bilingual French/English setting. We are looking for educators who thrive in a dynamic, multicultural environment and are committed to fostering a love of learning in young students.Ideal candidates will:
Have a strong interest in working within a bilingual French/English environment
Possess at least 2 years of experience teaching preschool, Kindergarten, and/or elementary grades
Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in education
Have a solid background in English/ELA and Math instruction
Demonstrate excellent writing and speaking skills in English
Use a student-centered approach to teaching and learning
Adapt instructional methods and materials to meet the diverse needs and interests of students
Create a nurturing, safe, and inclusive classroom community
Be innovative, tech-savvy, and excited about integrating technology in the classroom
Enjoy collaborating on curriculum design and project-based learning initiatives
Exhibit adaptability, flexibility, and creativity in teaching
Be open to teaching across multiple grade levels
Show a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Proficiency in French is a plus
