- Deliver hands-on care and assistance to clients, including activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions as per care plans.
- Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or mental conditions to the appropriate medical personnel or family members.
- Foster strong and respectful relationships with clients, ensuring their emotional comfort and safety.
- Supervise and train caregivers to ensure they understand and follow care protocols and adhere to company policies.
- Provide guidance and support to caregivers, promoting a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop comprehensive care plans for clients.
- Review and update care plans regularly to meet clients' changing needs and preferences.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and team members to maintain clear and transparent lines of communication.
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings, providing insights and updates on client care and team dynamics.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to caregiving and client safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care, incidents, and medications.
- Foster a warm, compassionate, and welcoming atmosphere for clients, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Proven experience as a Caregiver or similar role, with at least 2 years up of caregiving experience.
- Possess valid certifications as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) as required by state regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring and managing a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Empathetic, patient, and understanding nature with the ability to handle challenging situations with grace and compassion.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage care plans and team schedules effectively.
- Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
