- Plan and organize the warehouse for maximum use and efficiency.
- Manage quarterly Cycle counts
- Maintain accurate inventory counts in ERP
- Follow ALL safety and OSHA regulations
- Supervises subordinate personnel including: determining workload, delegating assignments, training, monitoring and evaluating performance, and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions.
- Schedules delivery of merchandise
- Ensures that there is an adequate supply of merchandise.
- Conducts regular cycle counts of inventories of merchandise
- Maintains accurate records
- Ensure all Finished goods are packed and arrive safely
- Operate a variety of warehouse equipment and vehicles; utilize a variety of hand held tools as required; arrange for the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment
- Make deliveries and back haul from suppliers operating a straight truck or tractor trailer.
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Enter, transcribe, record, store or maintain information in either written or electronic form.
- Assemble, sort, and/or distribute merchandise
- Supervise others by assigning/directing work; conducting employee evaluations, staff training and development, taking appropriate disciplinary/corrective actions, making hiring/termination recommendations
- Develop and/or implement new and current policies/procedures/standards and/or rules/regulations.
- High school diploma
- 3+ years previous experience in managing a warehouse
- Meet minimum requirements on pre-employment testing, including physical and drug test
- Work is preformed while standing, sitting and/or walking
- Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching
- Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 60 pounds continually during shift
- Sufficient vision and hearing necessary to operate powered equipment safely
- Ability to read, speak and comprehend the English language
- Temperature extremes: hot and humid temperatures and/or below zero freezing temperature
- Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching
- Night / weekend shift work may be required
