Apply today for our RN Cardiac Rehab opportunity.Job Summary and QualificationsTerre Haute Regional Hospital (THRH) is seeking a detail orientated and experienced Cardiac Rehab RN to join our close-knit team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for assessing, implementing and evaluating direct and indirect care of cardiac and pulmonary rehab inpatients and outpatients. Be part of our awesome team and an organization that invests in you, submit your application and help us raise the bar in patient care!· You will conduct initial patient evaluation, history, psycho-social assessment and risk factor assessment, reviews diagnostic data including lab results and stress testing.· As a member of our team you must be able to accurately identify EKG rhythms and care for patients with abnormal EKG rhythms, and other physiological findings.· Some key responsibilities include developing individualized exercise prescriptions including all aspects of reconditioning, conducting reconditioning sessions according to rehab protocol and assisting with patient education.· You will be cross trained in Special Diagnostics to perform testing (i.e., TEE, stress test) and communicate with patient’s physician regarding patient progress, with periodic program notes.Requirements
A graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with current licensure of The Indiana State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse
BLS certification upon and hire and maintained throughout employment with Terre Haute Regional Hospital
ACLS certification within 6 months of hire date and maintained throughout employment with Terre Haute Regional Hospital
(2) years of experience as a professional staff nurse on a monitored cardiac unit (i.e. PCU or ICU) or as a Cardiac Rehab Nurse is preferred
