We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team for the third shift hours.Job OverviewWe are looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance operations during the third shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, machine maintenance, and leadership. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities and maintaining our equipment to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance technicians and staff during the third shift
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and machinery
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies
  • Train and mentor maintenance team members
  • Collaborate with other departments to minimize production downtime
  • Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
  • Identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes and implement solutions
  • Respond to emergency maintenance situations promptly and effectively
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage maintenance budgets and control costs
  • Ensure proper documentation of all maintenance activities
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities
  • Stay updated on the latest maintenance technologies and best practices
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to work third shift hours (typically 11 PM - 7 AM)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification
  • Experience with predictive maintenance techniques
  • Knowledge of automation and robotics maintenance
