Receiving materials into the business software system. This is a full-time position with overtime potential. Additional responsibilities include safely loading and unloading trucks using a forklift.Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for packaging and entering purchase orders for outside services
Create advanced shipping notices for applicable customers
Identify non-conforming parts and initiate the Quality Hold Form (QHF) process when necessary
Assist with packaging production
Receive and verify all direct and indirect materials
Operate a forklift
Prepare and participate in physical inventory
Issue work orders, which may involve operating a saw, retrieving raw material, and issuing components
Perform additional duties as directed by supervisor/manager, including assisting in other areas as needed
Physical Demands:
Frequently sit, stand, walk, use hand/fingers to grasp/pinch/grip.
Occasionally climb (stairs/ladders) or balancing, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment
Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull 45-50 lbs
Work Environment:
Work performed in a production environment
The noise level is usually moderate to high, in some areas.
