We work together each day to foster an inclusive workplace culture where all of our employees feel respected, valued and have an opportunity to contribute to the company’s success.As an Letter of Credit Analyst within PNC's International Trade Product Delivery Group, training will be provided in the downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania location for six months and then you will work two weeks in the office and two weeks remotely.Position provides successful candidates the opportunity to use reading, writing, comprehension, drafting, editing, and proof reading skills to prepare stand by letters of credit for corporate clients within a fast paced work environment.Position requires the ability to read long technical banking agreements and decipher how to adjust the appropriate client information, documentation and issuing steps as you professionally represent the bank in writing.Your detail orientation, follow-up skills and ability to meet deadlines is very important due to strict client deadlines and potential compliance concerns. Candidates with strong communication skills who enjoy working with clients, understand how to interpret the gray and know when to escalate issues are preferred. Familiarity around stand by letters of credit is a plus.Job Description
  • Utilizes international trade-specific procedures, rules, guidelines and regulations. Evaluates and executes basic to moderate transactions. May approve international trade services transactions and processes. May have specific responsibility for one or multiple specialized products or functional areas.
  • Processes basic to moderate trade transactions of varying risk and financial value in accordance with procedures, rules, guidelines and regulations. Identify exceptions and may address escalated items under supervision. Interacts with internal and external stakeholders in completing transactions.
  • Administers trade compliance program against all trade transactions and escalates as necessary in order to mitigate bank risk.
  • Provides responses and documentation to inquiries and ad hoc requests for basic to moderate international trade products.
  • Verifies work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy and conformance to established service levels and applicable policies and procedures. May review reports to process transactions.
