Position DescriptionSeeking Hardware Engineers with experience in full life cycle development for Avionics Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) design systems. Initial work will include requirements through design of EMI test environments for Avionic flight and engine control systems and Hybrid power and drive systems, with continued development through build and integration stages of the project. Candidate will be responsible from design to lead activities including requirements analysis, test environment design, creating test plans, test reports, test support, post-analysis, and final report generation. Candidate will also monitor test method and performance aspects needed for future proposals.Throughout the cycle, the position will utilize industry best practice systems engineering and development processes and will consider both the business and the technical needs of the end user with the goal of providing a quality product that satisfies those needs. Designs are developed in Word, Excel, VISIO drawing suite with end documents maintained in Windchill. EMI Tests are run utilizing the TILE! Test suite.Qualifications Required:Bachelors degree, with minimum 3 years of experienceExperience with Commercial/Military Avionic systems engineering processExperience with EMI Engineering using MIL-STD-461 and/or DO-160 for EMI testingExperience with EMI Emission, Susceptibility, and Lightning requirements through test developmentExperience with EMI Laboratory Equipment types and applicationsExcellent interpersonal skills including working in team environmentsProficient with Microsoft Office toolsExcellent verbal communication skills must be able to communicate effectively in teleconferences with suppliers, clients, and colleaguesMust be a U.S. CitizenQualifications Desired:Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field, or equivalent experience with a focus on EMI-specific rolesExperience with EMI TILE! SoftwareProficient in VISIO or similar drawing toolCM experience including Windchill
