- Create security-driven Azure enterprise architectures, enterprise systems, and service-oriented architectures.
- Establish and execute detailed cloud migration project plans.
- Drive cloud consulting engagements by providing technical and business insights to cloud strategy engagements, technology and architecture, deployments, cloud migrations, and portfolio management.
- Lead the design and implementation of PaaS/IaaS services, constructs, and deployment methods using containerization, database-as-a-service, storage, and infrastructure automation.
- Provide expertise in architecture and design of services and systems in support of the various customer applications through the organization and its security.
- Participate in technical project review meetings to ensure technical designs meet the client’s operational requirements and infrastructure/security standards.
- Educate and influence stakeholders and engineering teams on effective cloud solutions and best practices.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience; OR Master’s Degree and 10+ years of experience; OR 7 years with PhD. A degree from an ABET or NCAE accredited institution in one of the following fields is highly desired: Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or Software Engineering.
- However, four (4) years of additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Proven experience in designing flexible, scalable, and highly-available cloud architectures and systems.
- Expertise in containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) and IAC tools (Terraform, ARM templates).
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts and tools (GitLab, JIRA, Jenkins).
- Knowledge of cloud computing service models Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
- Knowledge of cloud computing deployment models in a public, private, and hybrid environment.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, cyber threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and network security methodologies.
- Knowledge of risk management processes.
- Active Secret clearance (TS/SCI eligibility preferred).
- In-depth expertise with DAF CLOUDWorks (multi-cloud environments).
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, security tools, and principles.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and cyber threat intelligence platforms.
- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and tools.
