Job Description:GENERAL-PURPOSE OF POSITIONManage the Metalsa Quality System and ensure that plant meets all quality system requirements to maintain the customer Certification, ISO/TS16949: 2009 standard.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONCustomer service regarding quality performance and customer required testing in our productsMaintain and improve the performance of Quality ratings with the customersAssure the quality of products from raw materials receipt to finished product deliveryMaintain and improve the quality operating systemAssure the solution of quality problems in products (external and internal)Promote the continuous improvement in our processesProvide support in the implementation of new projectsManage data collection system, ensure timely and accurate data at all timesManage containment activity dailyAdditional responsibilities as required - this position is subject to change as the needs of the department changeEDUCATION3-5 years of Quality experience or an associate's degree in a quality-related field with 1-3 years of quality experience3-5 years of supervisor/leadership experience or leadership courses with 1-3 years of supervisor/leadership experienceStructured training experience with (I.E. SPC. GR&R, PPAP, etc) preferredAuditing experience preferredKnowledge of Control plan development experience preferredAutomotive manufacturing - specifically quality related experience preferred (manufacturing quality required)Preferred ASQ CertifiedPreferred Program Management experienceTECHNICALAbility to understand CMM-reported data preferredAbility to read blueprints and understand GD&T preferredDimensional gauging experience preferred
