Develop and execute procurement strategies as well as risk mitigation plans. Optimize total supplier performance using specific KPIs, delivery, and responsiveness. Lead, manage and execute all data collection, validation, analysis and negotiation activities. Drive productivity initiatives with suppliers to assure inflation mitigation and recovery, and support Value Added, Value Engineering (VAVE) and continuous improvement initiatives in the supply chain. Collaborate with Commodity and Material Managers across regions to drive synergies and supplier exploration. Lead the negotiation and management of strategic supplier contracts; approve any changes. Monitor and report compliance to commodity contracts and strategy. Communicate commodity agreements and strategies to stakeholders. Conduct on-going supplier assessments and performance review meetings, monitor effectiveness of strategy, and make changes where appropriate. Conduct On-Site Assessments, in support of new sourcing, to evaluate the capability of the supplier’s processes and controls to consistently produce and deliver parts to Allegion. Provide supplier development through technical oversight and expertise in areas such as Process Development through Capability Studies, FMEA, Control Plans, Error Proofing, Lean Manufacturing, etc. Lead cross-functional teams to obtain resolution on supplier issues impacting the business.Job Requirements:Master’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or Supply ChainFive (5) years of engineering experience in Quality, Supplier Quality or Supplier Management Additional experience must include:
Program / Project management
Assessing supplier capability
Lean, Six Sigma, and VAVE
PPAP, 8D, FMEAs, MSA / GRR, and capability studies
Development and evaluation of measurement systems
New product development, including APQP
Solidworks, AutoCAD, Creo, SQL
CNC machining
Quality Management Systems ISO-9001/TS-16949
High-volume manufacturing in electronic and/or mechanical manufacturing processes and assembly, including processes from multiple manufacturing commodities
