Location: Austin, TexasAs a Sr Developer, you will be:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead with expertise in Guidewire to join our dynamic team. As a Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in guiding and leading the technical aspects of Guidewire projects, ensuring the successful implementation of insurance solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include providing technical leadership, architecture design, and hands-on development expertise to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' business needs.Technical Leadership:
Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and project timelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and quality assurance professionals, to drive successful project delivery.Guidewire Expertise:
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Guidewire platform components, such as PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
Lead and participate in the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire-based solutions.Architecture Design:
Design and architect Guidewire solutions that align with industry standards and best Practices.Work closely with the architecture team to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of Guidewire applications.Coding and Development:
Engage in hands-on development to implement complex business requirements and enhancements.Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure the team's adherence to coding standards.Collaboration and Communication:
Foster effective communication within the team and with stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of technical requirements and project goals.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutionsProblem Solving:
Identify and address technical challenges, providing innovative solutions to complex problems.
Proactively troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure project success.
Documentation:
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, architecture diagrams, and knowledge-sharing materials.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification: ACE Level with Elysian/Flaine Version (Mandatory)
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead with a focus on Guidewire solutions.
- Strong programming skills with Java and experience in Gosu language.
- In-depth understanding of the Guidewire platform and its various modules.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
