Job Description:What You'll DoWe’re looking for motivated Technology Engineers to join our Benefits & Protection Distribution IT team. In this role, you’ll support, implement, and enhance the technologies that keep our business running. You’ll work directly with internal and external partners to solve problems, provide excellent customer service, and ensure our systems are secure and reliable.This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to build technical expertise while making an impact on a high-performing team.   • Provide hands-on support to business partners through calls, emails, and chat.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across devices and applications.
  • Collaborate with partners to identify needs, document requirements, and design solutions.
  • Learn and contribute to the usability, security, and performance of supported systems.
  • Independently research and apply solutions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree with a preference in a science, technology, engineering, or math related field or equivalent work experience
  • Internship or professional experience in IT support, troubleshooting, or customer service (preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning new technologies
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Willingness to participate in on-call support and occasional overnight travel
Salary Range InformationSalary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)$60000 - $72000 / yearTime Off ProgramFlexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.Pension EligibleYesWork EnvironmentThis role is located in Des Moines and offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek) work arrangement. During the training period the role will be in the office 5 days/week.
