Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.Job DescriptionWhat You’ll DoIn this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the development team's capabilities are delivered in-scope, on-time and of high quality, participating in all team ceremonies including standups, planning, backlog refinement, review and retrospectives. In addition to the core development team responsibilities, you will also work directly with engineering, scrum masters and other product teams ensuring that your product deliverables are met.For starters, you’ll partner with engineering teams to define solutions to problems we are trying to solve for our clients, our long-term strategy, and the total addressable market. You’ll also partner with client support and business stakeholders to observe and solicit feedback from clients.You’ll be the person who gets an in-depth understanding of issues that arise, throughout the product development lifecycle, studying them from a variety of angles.You’ll make recommendations to our Scrum Teams, and partner with a variety of groups – from architecture and engineering to other business stakeholders – to help us ensure we’re delivering our best work and products. Here’s a peek at some of the expectations that come with those areas:Planning:Support Release Train and scrum team(s) via Product planning, managing the product backlog and software development details, and maintaining velocity.Prioritize and manage backlog and implementation, ensure product execution meets strategy and requirements, and refine features into user stories and story acceptance criteria.Partner with Product Managers to understand and influence product strategy and roadmaps, aggregate and conceive ideas for enhancing product performance and achieving product success/KPIs.Development:Work with development team(s) to groom and refine the product backlog to ensure the development team works on priority items from the perspective of the stakeholders.Lead multiple scrum teams to build, enhance and manage one or more products, capabilities or services.Coordinate with other Agile Product Managers to deliver on a vision that crosses multiple delivery streams on release trains.Advise sales, sales operations, client solutions, and client marketing teams to communicate product performance and value for in-market products.Facilitate open communication and discussion between stakeholders, acting as a single point of contact by developing, maintaining and working to stakeholder engagement strategies and plans. Facilitates business decision-making processes. Captures and disseminates technical and business information.Technical/Functional SkillsAbility to manage the development lifecycle with the scrum team, championing multiple products supported by multiple groomed sprints in a backlog.Manage product and sprint backlog for a particular domain or feature area by carefully considering customer needs under resource, scope and time restraints ensuring transparency.Drives for clarity when dealing with ambiguous requirements or late customer requests.Demonstrate an adept understanding of customer needs and anticipate these changes for efficient development.Requirement Definition & Management - Plans and drives scoping, requirements definition and prioritization activities for large, complex initiatives.Project Management - Takes full responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of complex projects (typically with significant business, political, or high-profile impact, and high-risk dependencies).Prioritizes product requirements and owns the product backlog. Responsible for one or more products, depending upon the product’s complexity.Who You AreBachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience in a related field.
