This position will be full-time contract and onsite in Plymouth, Minnesota.Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:30am-3:00pmWhat You’ll DoResponsible for the safe operation of assigned high-speed large-scale automated assembly machinesMake complex repairs and major adjustments to assembly equipment, including set-ups and changeoversPerform quality checks per the quality inspection plan (QIP) and document specified measurements per print at required intervalsPerform daily/weekly/monthly preventive and routine machine maintenancePerforms tooling adjustment (e.g., sharpening/conditioning, checking height of spring-loaded pins (pin-ou), keying features, bend stations, insertion stations)Replaces sensors, punches, dies, stock components, air cylinders, belts, etc.Adjusts housing feed based on associated standardsUses height indicator, ram optic, gauges and microscopic visual checksIdentifies and re-sets machine faults, clears jams, restarts production, removes and packages finished productWhat You'll NeedRequired:1+ years of relevant work experience and knowledge of company policies and proceduresAbility to perform tooling adjustments (e.g., sharpening/conditioning, checking height of spring-loaded pins (pin-out), keying features, bend stations, insertion stations)Ability to adjust housing feed based on associated standardsProficiency in using height indicators, ram optic, gauges, and microscopic visual checksSkill in identifying and resetting machine faults, clearing jams, restarting production, removing, and packaging finished productsPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Regularly required to wear steel toe shoesThe pay for this position is $19.50 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will include medical coverage as well as 401k retirement account access.
