- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineer from an ABET-accredited 4-year institution + 6+ years of HVAC design experience in commercial and institutional interiors.
- Has demonstrated proficiency in HVAC design for the built environment, including HVAC load calculations, equipment sizing and selection, developing control systems, performing site surveys
- Has strong knowledge of the region's building, energy, and green codes.
- Is motivated to excel, able to work both independently and in a team setting and capable of organizing personal workflow.
- Has management skills and the ability to coordinate, organize, and manage information and people across all MEP disciplines.
- Exhibit the ability to delegate tasks, manage project schedules and budgets.
- Is committed to quality, client satisfaction and responsiveness.
- Has solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD (recent releases) is also a must. Familiarity with Revit modeling is strongly preferred.
- Preferred: P.E. license, LEED accreditation
- Able to travel to job sites to conduct site visits, including carrying equipment/materials, climbing, sitting, standing, walking, being exposed to heights/elements when needed.
- Able to complete pre-employment background check and drug test. Certain projects have extra requirements.
