- Architect and implement modern, scalable data solutions that support current needs and future AI/ML integration.
- Design logical and physical data models that align with business processes and strategic goals.
- Recommend and deploy cutting-edge database and cloud technologies to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Lead the development and maintenance of robust ETL pipelines and data workflows across diverse data sources.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful dashboards, reports, and analytics tools.
- Champion data governance, quality, and compliance standards across the organization.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize data architecture for performance, cost-efficiency, and innovation.
- Work hands-on with BI tools, SQL, cloud platforms, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) to deliver high-value analytics solutions.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in data, analytics, and AI to drive continuous improvement and competitive advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) strongly preferred.
- Additional certifications in data management and analytics are a plus.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in data architecture, analytics, and IT solution delivery.
- Proven leadership in mid- to large-scale data initiatives with measurable business impact.
- Deep expertise in cloud-based data architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Hands-on experience with Agile, Git, and CI/CD practices.
- Applied experience in predictive analytics, machine learning, and AI-driven insights.
- Preferred: Experience with association or nonprofit data (e.g., CRM/AMS, advocacy, events, membership engagement).
- Mastery of SQL, NoSQL, and complex ETL/data integration strategies.
- Proficiency with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Data Fabric).
- Strong command of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and data visualization best practices.
- Programming skills in Python, R, or similar for analytics and automation.
- Familiarity with JavaScript and PHP for data-driven web applications is a plus.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align technical solutions with organizational goals.
- Excellent communicator who can translate complex data concepts for executive and non-technical audiences.
