The Bioassay QC Analyst 1 will be responsible for GMP release testing of products produced at the company's GMP manufacturing facility and affiliated contract organizations. This position will have a focus on Molecular and Cell Biology, including Sequencing, qPCR, and electrophoresis.
  • Support bioassay testing for raw materials, drug substance and drug product, including generation of testing data to support clinical studies.
  • Assist in laboratory housekeeping.
  • Perform general laboratory support activities including reagent preparation, equipment maintenance, etc.
  • Establish and maintain a safe laboratory working environment.
  • Accept, complete, and report on assignments within the agreed upon timeframe.
  • Work with the quality control management team to continuously improve the quality, compliance, and efficiency of QC operations.
  • Additional duties may be assigned
qualifications:
Required
  • BA or BS degree in Biochemistry or relevant scientific discipline
  • 0-2 years of direct experience in QC Molecular testing and Cell Biology (e.g. qPCR, sequencing, potency, mammalian, and bacterial cell culture)
Preferred
  • Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Smart Sheet
  • Ability to prepare reagents, pipette small volumes, work in a Biological Safety Cabinet
  • Experience with Laboratory Information Systems
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize, manage, and complete multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
