CNC Lathe Machinist III / ProgrammerAre you a skilled machinist who enjoys taking a project from raw material to a finished, high-quality product? We’re looking for a CNC Lathe Machinist III / Programmer to join our team, where you’ll work with advanced multi-axis lathes, cutting-edge tooling, and modern programming software to deliver precision parts.What You’ll Do:Program, set up, and operate CNC multi-axis lathes.Take metal from raw stock to finished product with minimal supervision.Plan and lay out work directly from customer drawings and specifications.Determine proper speeds, feeds, tolerances, and machining sequences.Perform setups, make trial cuts, and fine-tune adjustments as needed.Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, CMM, vision systems, etc.) to ensure accuracy.Apply trigonometry and shop math to calculate complex angles and dimensions.Work with modern software like Fusion360 (preferred) or Mastercam.Contribute to a team environment while maintaining a strong personal work ethic.What We’re Looking For:High school diploma or equivalent.5+ years of CNC machining experience preferred (but we’re open to less with the right skills and drive).Strong technical knowledge of machining practices and cutting tools.Ability to work independently while collaborating with a skilled team.
