
Account Executive II, Construction & Infrastructure Group

- Along with a broader client team, support bid requests and project specific placements for a large & complex multi-national contractor
- Actively engage with clients on a continuous basis around needs in an organized fashion
- Accurate and timely responses to client requests and inquiries
- AE will assist with the annual corporate renewal
- Collaborate with senior unit members to develop coverage strategy and marketing initiatives for renewal and prospective business
- Prepare new business and renewal information and keeping it up to date
- Analyze client specific risk exposure and detail coverage requirements; prepare and present marketing proposals for renewals and new business
- Finalize all risk transfer quotes and complete a thorough comparison of program options as part of the client proposal presentation. Comparison to include changes in exposure, losses, coverage terms and conditions and cost of risk, amongst other key metrics
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with the underwriting community, especially key partner markets
- Process new policies, extensions, and policy renewals, changes, additions, deletions and cancellations as needed
- Calculate adjustments and premiums on polices and other insurance and provider documents
- Lead, measure and report on ongoing insurance or risk retention programs
- Handle daily tasks and key assignments with appropriate technology tools
- Work with invoicing, certificates and other transactional duties as may be required
- Policy and other related document checking as needed
- Review and clear audits and adjustments
- 5+ years experience of commercial insurance experience, preference for those experienced in complex construction contractors.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development including insurance courses/certifications/designations
- Experience with thorough analysis of risk transfer programs, such as coverage and cost analysis and graphical representations of the program
- Knowledge around complex insurance program structure planning and design of alternatives based on client objectives
- Experience preparing marketplace insurance submissions, coordinate, and assist in market meetings and negotiations, as appropriate
- Contract review and assessment experience
- Proven experience with ensuring timely client service. Accurate responsiveness is key!
- Experience assisting teams as needed, ie: special projects, daily backup
- A Property and Casualty Brokers License is required, or must be obtained within 120 days of hire if not already active
