A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Remote Clinical Pharmacist – Prior Authorization.The Clinical Pharmacist would be working for a Fortune 500 healthcare leader and offers excellent career growth potential. This is a full-time position, 40+ hours per week, with the ability to work remotely from anywhere in the continental U.S., excluding New Mexico and Colorado.Remote Clinical Pharmacist – Prior Authorization Compensation

  • Fully remote position – never onsite
  • Training schedule: September 15th – October 31st | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST
  • Production shifts (choose one):
  • Sunday–Thursday | 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM CST
  • Tuesday–Saturday | 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM CST
  • Tuesday–Saturday | 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM CST
  • This is a contract role with the potential for extension or permanent hire based on performance, attendance, and business needs.
Remote Clinical Pharmacist – Prior Authorization Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical reviews of prior authorization requests, making timely coverage determinations per clinical guidelines and plan design (60%)
  • Collaborate with technicians and prior auth teams, answer clinical questions, and gather supporting documentation (25%)
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of drug and disease states relevant to both Specialty and Non-Specialty pharmacy programs (10%)
  • Participate in trainings, projects, and provide after-hours coverage when needed (5%)
Remote Clinical Pharmacist – Prior Authorization Requirements
  • Licensed Registered Pharmacist in the state of residence
  • Minimum 1–3 years experience in clinical pharmacy, preferably in PBM or Prior Authorization
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel (Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio preferred)
  • Ability to multitask, use multiple systems simultaneously, and work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of PHI
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Remote Clinical Pharmacist – Prior Authorization Preferred Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of clinical pharmacy experience
  • Doctorate (PharmD)
Remote Clinical Pharmacist – Prior Authorization Work-from-Home Requirements
  • Broadband internet with minimum speeds: 25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload (verified via www.speedtest.net)
  • Include speed test screenshot and internet provider name at the top of resume
  • Smartphone required (for VPN access token)
  • Private, stable, and dedicated workspace used exclusively for business during working hours
  • Must follow CVS Teleworker Privacy Practices, including:
  • Work equipment secured and inaccessible to others
  • No unauthorized access to screens, documents, or calls
  • Computer must be turned off or locked when away
