We are looking for a Business Architect to assist with requirements layout and strategy for Solution Architects and other project stakeholders involved in an IFS implementation within the energy sector.Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Business Architect / Business Process Analyst to lead the evaluation and transformation of enterprise operations for our customers that are preparing full or partial IFS software implementations. The ideal candidate would have experience in the energy sector, Lean / 6 sigma training, and have project management experience. They would be required to develop and communicate strategies and plans within the business to execute organizational transformation while maximizing the operational benefits linked to the new software capabilities.Note: Due to access to technologies and hardware subject to U.S. national security export control requirements, applicants must be U.S. Persons (8 USC 1324b(a)(3)) or otherwise authorized by the U.S. Government. No company sponsorship is available.Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of current business processes across departments (finance, asset management, supply chain, projects, maintenance, etc.) including process mapping / VSM and other 6-sigma tools.
  • Lead workshops and interviews with stakeholders to define business requirements, process improvement opportunities, and future-state process models.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and gaps compared to best practice then prepare and deliver presentations to key stakeholders outlining opportunities.
  • Collaborate with IFS architects, functional consultants, and solution owners to develop a blueprint that aligns with business goals.
  • Create detailed process documentation, workflow diagrams, and functional requirements specifications.
  • Develop top level project plans integrating separate ongoing efforts to transition systems, and interface with project managers to develop an integrated project plan.
  • Facilitate clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement in customer and Tsunami Tsolutions business processes.
  • Prepare and present project status reports and post-project evaluations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand timelines, milestones, and resource allocations.
  • Track and analyze actual costs against budgets and provide variance analysis.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
  • 5+ years Industry experience in the energy and utilities sector
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Lean methodologies including Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and process optimization techniques.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with aviation-related technologies and regulations is advantageous.
