In this role, you will work with the Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Lead System Engineer to help ensure that the DCGS-MC GEOINT program is designed, built, and fielded to meet requirements and enable flawless operations. You will be supporting the U.S. government to provide insight into the architecture and multi-level software designs of complex systems. To effectively perform your responsibilities, you will need a working knowledge of the Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition lifecycle with focus on assessment of all aspects of engineer design from requirements to the final system integration test plan.You will:
- Work side-by-side with the customer as a subject matter expert
- Help ensure that all hardware and software are designed to integrate with minimal issues
- Work directly with representatives of several other corporate entities daily
- Participate in software requirements and design analysis, threat assessments, vulnerability assessments, secure software architecture analysis, software test evaluation, and integration of applications
- Participate in program and Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) and analyze procurement specifications and data packages; Test and Evaluation (T&E) suitability/supportability documentation; and provides technical recommendations on Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and/or spiral upgrades
- Assists in the installation and configuration of information systems and components
- Be responsible for documentation of assigned systems and solutions
- Review and assist in enhancing current engineering processes
- Have the ability to present at technical conferences or meetings
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance (TS/SCI)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or a related technical field
- 5+ years experience
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment on collaborative efforts involving both internal and external team members
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform engineering trade-offs between customer requirements, schedule deadlines, program funding, and engineering best practices

- Knowledge of the Defense Acquisition Guidebook (DAG)
- Experience with Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Must be able to travel, though not a normal expectation
- Active DoD security clearance (TS/SCI)
- Experience with system software and hardware management and employment
- Familiarity with policies and procedures related to systems engineering processes and acquisition and modernization of Marine Corps systems
- Experience with briefing senior Marine Corps personnel
- Ability to track, process, produce and distribute deliverables and monitor comment status, collect, and analyze performance data
- Participate in program management reviews and prepare and coordinate inputs for acquisition documentation, status reports, briefings, and information inquiries
