We're seeking a knowledgeable and service-driven IT Help Desk Technician to resolve issues related to phones, networking, hardware, software, and printers. The ideal candidate is both a skillful problem-solver and an exceptional communicator.OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to support requests via ticketing system, email, phone, chat, or in person
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues
- Deliver clear, step-by-step solutions to end-users
- Proficiency in troubleshooting IT systems, hardware, and software
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft tools: Teams, Defender, Purview, O365, SharePoint, Entra ID, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Patient, personable, and customer-focused approach
- Associate degree in Information Technology
- 2–3 years' experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Admin Center
- Microsoft Certifications a plus
- Friendly, team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude
- Pay range: $18–$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Support provided for five business units on main campus and seven remote St. Louis–area locations
- Mileage reimbursement available for travel
- Relaxed dress code (neat blue jeans and polo shirt)
- No supervisory responsibilities
All candidates receiving an employment offer must submit a pre-employment screening. The screenings will include criminal background check and other background checks (as needed), Family Care Safety Registration, drug screen, an employment and education or licensure/certification verification, and Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination. Various positions will require physical examination, Tuberculosis screening and Hepatitis A. All offers are contingent upon successful completion of required screening.
