What you'll do as a Senior Program Manager:
  • Set profitability targets for projects and implement strategies to meet them; proactively manage internal costs to ensure financial goals are achieved
  • Administer owner contracts and manage risk by identifying and addressing issues as they arise throughout the project lifecycle
  • Prepare and coordinate key project documentation and drawing reviews for clients across all phases-conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to marketing strategies, identifying new opportunities through industry relationships, and assisting with proposals and client presentations
  • Lead the setup and administration of project business plans, including estimating, cost tracking, and financial reporting
  • Organize and lead project meetings, create agendas, and develop and manage master project budgets and timelines to ensure client expectations and objectives are met
  • Assist with contractor prequalification, prepare and manage RFPs/RFQs, and help guide owners in selecting the most effective project delivery method
  • Oversee the change management process-support owners with design updates, provide recommendations on change orders, and review all proposed changes before forwarding to stakeholders
  • Take an active role in client engagement, including presenting services and building long-term relationships
  • Review and advise on requisitions, invoices, and change orders to ensure alignment with budget and contract terms
  • Keep owners informed with regular updates on key issues, project outcomes, and clear, actionable recommendations
  • Manage projects through to closeout, including adherence to preconstruction schedules and milestones, tracking submittals, RFIs, and delivering timely reports to clients
  • Contribute to the development and review of cost estimates at all stages of design, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project scope
  • Supervise and support assistant project managers and help lead training and development efforts for junior project staff
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports, including project status updates and cost projections; review invoice coding and processing for accuracy

  • Proficient in software such as Suretrak, Microsoft Project, Plan Grid, VICO, P6, Revit, or similar
  • Business development experience
  • Certifications (preferred but not required): CCM, LEED AP, OSHA 30 Hour, and/or AGC/ABC membership
