- Communicate with customer for new OEM opportunity and obtain product requirement and project description.
- Propose feasible and cost-effective detector design that meet customer’s requirement and create related proposal drawing or specification sheet.
- Generate Cost Sheet by working together with internal stake holders and vendors to obtain cost information and delivery schedule for the materials and products.
- Establish test and assembly procedures for prototype builds and assist in the information transfer to Manufacturing.
- Work together with manufacturing and QA team to resolve any customer issues and ensure timely delivery of new products.
- Assist customers with technical queries related to the use and operation of products in the form of daily technical support inquiry through the web and phone line.
- Assist in the development of new catalog products including establishing specifications, cost sheets, test and assembly procedures and qualification of vendors.
- Perform cost analysis, design review, and continuously identify new ways for cost saving without compromising product quality.

- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering with preferred educational background in optoelectronics/microelectronics required.
- 2+ years of experience in an Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering role required.
- Good communication, administrative, and organizational skills needed.
- Technical knowledge on discrete semiconductor components, Silicon, InGaAs photodiode, LEDs, electronic circuits, electrical components and CAD drafting experience are desirable.
- Must have experience with AutoCAD and MS Office: MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
