
Lead Electrical Engineer

- Manage and oversee electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Provide technical expertise, guidance, and facilitation to team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders for successful project execution.
- Design and develop electrical systems and components, including printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Mentor and support junior engineers.
- Work closely with technicians during prototype building.
- Engage with engineers, technicians, and stakeholders for continuous quality improvement.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Expertise in electrical engineering and electrical design.
- Proficiency in power supplies, power generation, and control systems for pumps and valves.
- Experience with high power electronics, handling 100W+ and 30-80 KW power levels.
- Comfort with 400 DC and 480 AC systems.
- Strong understanding of component theory for circuit boards and PCB design.
- Experience with batteries, controllers, and voltage conversion.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as electrical, electronics, science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- 6+ years of experience in high power electronics.
- Familiarity with Solidworks or NX and PCB Design tools such as Altium and Mentor Graphics.
- Experience with military specifications and the use of military connectors.
- Understanding of space considerations and application in engineering designs.
