- Associate's degree in related study preferred, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in Security, Life Safety, Risk Management, Emergency Management, Business Continuity, Military, Law Enforcement, or other related fields preferred
- Professional operations center experience is strongly preferred
- Security licensing, or the ability to become security licensed in their state of residence
- Other relevant trainings or certifications demonstrating skills in security, risk management, business continuity, emergency management, security systems, intelligence gathering, investigations, executive protection, or other relevant topics strongly preferred
- Understanding of global security or geopolitical threats, their impact to business, and effective mitigation techniques
- Proficient computer skills including the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and other proprietary software or web-based tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in both a team environment and independently or under limited supervision
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and to operate in high-stress and emergency situations
- Multilingual or experience with a multi-cultural environment
- Demonstrate a high level of discretion with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
