Acting as the primary contact for the Owner, you will also be responsible for identifying opportunities, pursuing commissions, negotiating contracts, and managing project finances. This role requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills to deliver successful outcomes for our clients.Essential Functions: Design and Construction Documents:Programming and planningConducting site and environmental analysisSchematic design developmentEngineering systems coordinationBuilding cost estimation and analysisCode research and complianceDesign development and preparation of construction documentsMaterials research and selectionWriting project manuals/specificationsDocument checking and coordination Construction Contract Administration:Proficiency with construction contracts (AIA and other standards)Leading bidding and contract negotiationsOffice-based construction phase administrationOn-site construction observation and quality assurance Management:Comprehensive project management, including planning, staffing, and resource allocationCoordination of project documentation and approvalsClient relationship managementMarketing and business developmentFinancial management, including budgeting and monitoring project costsContract negotiation and complianceQualifications, Skills, and Abilities:Proven ability to plan, organize, and direct complex projectsStrong leadership and coordination skills to manage multidisciplinary teamsExcellent verbal and written communication skills to maintain client and team relationshipsExpertise in documentation, submittals, approvals, and monitoring project progressDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesEducation and Experience:Licensed Architect (required)Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field (required)Minimum of 5 years of professional experience (additional experience preferred)Construction-related experience preferred but not requiredPortfolio demonstrating relevant project experience (required)References from clients, contractors, and consultants (required)Training and Development:Comprehensive in-house training provided on office standards, Revit standards, and professional practices
