Tier 1 Technical Support SpecialistAdaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas. We are currently looking for a Tier 1 Technical Support Specialist to join our team.
ResponsibilitiesProvide first and second-tier IT support for incidents and requests via phone, email, and remote toolsIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve routine hardware, software, and peripheral issuesEscalate more complex problems to appropriate third-tier teamsSupport PCs, printers, servers, and related IT hardware and softwareAccurately document and prioritize service requestsInstall and configure software, desktops/laptops, and peripheralsMaintain inventory and IT knowledge base documentationProvide courteous, professional, and efficient customer serviceParticipate in solution design and identify areas for process improvementMaintain high levels of customer satisfaction through consistent, quality serviceProvide off-hours support when necessary (e.g., disaster recovery)Follow established policies, procedures, and guidelines
Required Qualifications2+ years of desktop/technical support experience (open to candidates with less experience if they are sharp and fast learners)Strong verbal and written communication skillsFamiliarity with both Windows desktop environments and macOSExcellent organizational and customer service skillsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in:Windows 10 and Microsoft OfficeBasic TCP/IP networkingVoIP phone systemsWindows Terminal Server end-user supportMobile device supportPrinter setup and troubleshootingDell workstation hardware
