Job Title: Field Service TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. This role involves significant travel (50-75%) and offers the opportunity to work closely with engineering professionals to provide technical support and solutions to our customers. The position requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and commissioning machinery, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.Responsibilities
  • Respond to service calls from the installed base and independently provide solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, IT, and engineering to develop training and educational materials for internal use and customers.
  • Conduct final testing, installation, and 1st piece production sign-off.
  • Interact closely with engineering to support customer technical issues.
  • Perform equipment installation, commissioning, and training at customer sites.
  • Read electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and troubleshoot using basic electrical skills.
  • Understand PLC logic and similar machine controls.
  • Travel 50-75% and work independently on-site with customers, maintaining strong customer interface skills.
  • Operate safely in hot and cold temperature extremes within warehouse or industrial environments.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and safely operate a motor vehicle.
Essential Skills
  • Electrical and mechanical knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • High-level understanding of machine functions, including hydraulics, pumps, fluid systems, dispensing, and pressure.
  • Proficiency in reading and editing prints using AutoCAD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
